provide an explanation of the above mate, what you mean his good but you aint too sure if he will fit Bayern's style of play..lol
With these players i dont think we will continue to be a defensive team..i predict a more offensive style |
that's great!we will be able to break through any defence!
offense is the best defense! |

i beg to differ. i prefer the 'defence is the best offense' theory but thats just me. a good offense is obviously good but the defense needs to back it up. we can't be conceding like we did last season. |

For me, It's all about being compact and creative. And it's all down to the midfield. When you have players with creative flair who can keep the ball and other players who can win the ball when lost, then we'll be fine.
With the kind of players we got, we'll be compact and creative, and I'm sure we'll witness glorious moments. |

Well, I am truly surprised to see that Ribery signed on with Bayern. WOW!! Bayern got Toni and Ribery in one swoop. Good job, Bayern.
However, I hate to be the donwer here but I guess I will have to play the devil's advocate here...just because Bayern signed these top players doesn't mean they're going to win the title next season. So many factors come into play that they may or may not have a good season next season. These players have to gel and unite as a team and have passion in their play (those were some of the factors that hurt the team last season) and if all those factors come together then Bayern should do just fine. I'm hoping for the best.
For the posts above this one......they say in sports that defense wins games and I tend to agree with that statement. If you have an offense then your defense needs to be stronger because you have to prevent the other team from scoring. Of course, it would be great to see a team with a high power offense and high caliber defense. |

Remember he turned down Real and Champions League.
Ribery said:
"When I told him I was coming, he told me I had made the right choice." (Sagnol)
"Bayern are a serious club and I got the support from several players in the French team, as well as the coach Raymond Domenech.
"He did not hesitate and said to me I would do well there."
"I am looking forward to playing in the Bundesliga, where there are a lot of personal duels and midfield battles."
"Real Madrid wanted me to join," said Ribery.
"It certainly gave me food for thought, especially as Bayern won't play in the Champions League next season.
"But when a big club like Bayern comes to see you, it is really something. "They had a difficult season, but this club have often been champions.
"The most important thing is that they will bounce back and the club have made a huge effort to recruit big players."
Yes , I do think from the above statements Frank did not come only for the cash. I see an honest man who has very high ambitions with his new club. And i do believe he will turn things upside down, justifying the sum of money spent on him and making happy every Bayern supporter.

it seems that he genuinely believes in bayern bouncing back to being one of the best teams once again (who woundn't ) and HE WANTS TO BE APART OF THAT SUCCESS, but most importantly he WANTS TO BE APART OF THE ENDEAVOUR for that success. if you get what i mean- theres a stark difference between the two.
this is something which every player of ours needs to feel and desire. |

I still can't believe we got Ribery, it is an amazing coup for fc bayern. I really think he will fit in well with the new fcb structure, i was just wondering where we will play him. Do you think it will be out on the right like he plays for marseille or will it be a more central attacking role like he played for france in the 2006 WC, where do you think he would be best suited at FCB? I think we should play him in the middle, we need someone who can give us drive and his influence would be felt all over the park. But do we have the quality on the right to support him?
Lahm/Sagnol ---- Ismael/DVB---Lucio-----Lahm/Jansenn
?????--------Van Bommel-----Schweinstiger
Ribery
Toni-------Klose/Makaay
i think sosa could fill that right wing role well, do we have any other options besides from playing ribery out on the right? |

Frank also said that he has been a part of teams that have not won the big games and he knews that with Bayern he can be a part of a team that wins the big games.
