There's nothing to worry about. Even if he would come he would be the back-up to Rensing and nothing more. I have no problem with him but I agree with you that the back-up needs someone younger. But if Klinsi wants him then Klinsi will have to do some explaining. It's not because of the controversy but why would he want a man who is about to retire?

I think Lehmann is stating that since Bayern hired Klinsi that they are becoming open minded, and that i agree with it. If they would talk to him then he would listen compared to earlier times when he probably just ignore them, but I think we all know that Bayern is not going to talk to him.

Hoeness said Rensing will and is number 1 . End of story, even if he joins us he will be a freaking joke in Germany LOL. Rensing will take over the national position. Never liked him and never will. Kahn was far more better than him ... anyway.

He won't come either way, there is no way Bayern will go for him.

I dont think he will be the Germany number 1 i think that will go to Hilderbrand, also I would like to see the Werder Breman keeper Tim Wiese here to replace Kahn

"My wife and I did not want to disrupt their happiness simply because their dad made a couple of mistakes at the start of the season and now has to sit on the subs' bench."

The Independent
Bayern Munich's general manager Uli Hoeness has dismissed the possibility of the Bundesliga side signing Jens Lehmann as a replacement for Oliver Kahn, who will retire at the end of the season. "It would be relatively senseless to replace one 38-year-old with another," he said.
