These are 2 big surprises. Both Pirmasens and Stuttgarter Kickers play in the Regionalliga (the German third division), and it's highly embarassing for both Bremen and Hamburg to lose against them. As they say, it's the "magic of the Cup"!

that always upsets me... how I love derby days

I had the love-hate relationship for the derby. Love because of all the excitement and hype, and hate because I've only managed to watch it once, because we never had managed to get it on satellite at the Bayern Malta fan club (where I go to watch the Bayern matches) except for the one time.

it's the only german football I can get my local pub to play if it's televised!

and probably you have to put up with hearing a lot of insults revolving around the war and the nazis
