| Thank you for supplying some information on your team. To be honest, I have never heard of the team before. I will plead ingnorance on this because, in my area (in the US), we do not get any Portuguese games and reports, so I am very unfamiliar with almost all the Portuguese teams, except for Porto. Maybe one day I can visit Portugal and check out the team. Is it hard to get tickets to a game? |

Can you tell me why the coach is known as "the tank?" I have to say that is an interesting nickname for a coach.
So, how long have been a fan of Braga? IYO, what has been the highlight of the team's history? What I mean is what was the best moment in their history in your opinion? Like I said, here in the US we do not get Portuguese football so I would like to hear what you have to say about the team.
Thanks. |

well the story of the S.C.Braga coach is that he was a fcporto central defender - he was on their win of the UEFA Cup and Champions league with Mourinho - and here in portugal he is known has "bicho" becouse he is a very tall and well built. But when Co Adrianse substituted Mourinho he didn't Like Jorge Costa, soo Jorge Costa went to premierhsip - at least at that time it was - Charlton Atlethics where Charlton supporters nicknamed him The Tank becouse of is fisical constituion.
I have been a S.C.Braga fan for all my life!!! the club has an 85 years existence!!!
you can check some of the clubs history in this webpage -|> http://playerhistory.com/Default.aspx?page=club_details&clubID=4492 (unfortunatly most of the information is payers only )
S.C.Braga player's that played for Portugal National team off all S.C.Braga history -|> http://www.superbraga.com/clube/historial/?cid=136
here you can find more off the history of S.C.Braga but unfortunatly is all in portuguese language -|> http://www.superbraga.com/clube/historial/
but maybe with an online translator as bablefish(http://babelfish.altavista.com/) or another webpage online translator you can read and understand most of the text and know a bit of S.C.Braga history and past. |

| Thank you for sharing the information with us. It is greatly appreciated. I can see why the coach is nicknamed "The Tank." It would be nice if the game between Braga and Bayern will be shown on TV but I have a feeling that it won't. |

PRESENTE/PASSADO RECENTE(present and recent past player's)
Tiago
Quim
Vítor Baía do Minho

only in Portuguese again... but maybe with bablefish(http://babelfish.altavista.com/) or another webpage online translator you can read and understand most of the text[/b] |

The portuguese players are fine.
Is that Braga's stadium? it looks really big and impressive. I figured they were quite a low, middle-table team. |

yeah, I can tell you, not much news of the portuguese league is broadcast over here. In fact i think its rated a bit like the bundesliga these days, just a pool for the big clubs to steal talented players haha.

Why don't you follow Portuguese football? And, why the rolling eyes? I know that I don't follow it because it's not available here in the US. Granted, I guess I could watch games on the computer but I hate doing that because it's hard on the eyes. Anyway, what I know is that any league can be entertaining. Granted, nothing can replace the Bundesliga and Bayern, but other leagues can be fun to watch. I always willing to give any league and team a shot.
BTW...Miss Dangerous, can you name any other players from Portugal who have had a big impact on other leagues. I just want to see if you know any more players. |
