| Mirage wrote: | Puyol might be ok if it wasn't for his hair. You can't really see him clearly |
| tracylynn wrote: | What are you saying....he's a shaggy dog? LOL!! Forget the hair, his face is ugly no matter what.
And speaking of hair....you know that I think Pirlo of AC Milan has the best hair out there. I know he's Italian and not Spanish but still,,,he's hair is nice. I would just love to run my fingers through his hair.
Back to the Spanish....Miquel Torres is one hot looking dude. BTW...he also has nice hair. |
| tracylynn wrote: | Mirage, what are your thoughts on David Villa? He's not bad looking. Of course, every time I picture him I keep seeing him missing that easy penalty kick against Lichenstein last month. LOL!!
Mirage, what do you say on this? In no particular order....
1) Fabio Cannavaro
2) Lukas Podolski
3) Philipp Lahm
4) Gianluca Zambrotta
5) Andrea Pirlo
6) Miquel Torres
7) Artur Boruc
Thierry Henry
9) Sergios Ramos
10) Robinho
11) Quagliarella
Edited to add: I don't know why there is a smiley face by Henry. It' supposed to say number 8. |
this says number eight because when you put the 8 and parenthesis together they become the cool smiley
| Mirage wrote: | I don't think much to David Villa Or Fernando Torres. Everyone seems to find him attractive, but I got over it haha.
Obviously Fabio is just gorgeous, looks better bald or with his hair sorta long, dont you think?
Poldi is cute, would be cuter if he scored more goals thoughhh. I don't think much to Lahm. Zambrotta is nice in those Dolce and Gabbana photos. So is Pirlo, but when Pirlo is on the pitch he's not so nice. Boruc is a bit blond for me. Thierry getting a bit old now showing his age no? Omg Ramos is disgusting, you like him?
I've never really seen Robinho properly. And I've never heard of the last guy!!
Only guys I'd add to the list are Marquez, Valdes and that guy who plays goalie for San Marino when they get thrashed by Germany. Simoncini I think. There is nothing about him on the Internet because he's just obsolete, poor guy. |
This is what it's all about, I knew it, girls only register not to talk about the games and plays, but the appearance and looks of a player, which I find it very sad. This list above can go forever, and the funny thing is that she is a moderator. |
You go to all that trouble just to say that? oh dear.
One week Real want Ronaldo, next they want Kaka, next they want Fabregas.... I don't think their feet are firmly on the ground. |

I may be a moderator but I am also a woman who do notice men. As a matter of fact, us women do want to talk about the games but it is the off season and at the moment there really is nothing going on. So, why not have a little fun? And, If you had read the thread carefully then you would've noticed that we had talked about the game but the subject got diverted therefore we're having a little fun. Is there anything wrong in that? I don't think so. If you don't like the talk then don't read it. You don't hear us women complain about your avatar or some of the talk about women that goes on this board. :roll
What really gets me is when we do talk about the game, either some members ignore what we have to say or complain about it (you did against me in your very first post). I guess I'll never understand why it's ok for a guy to make comments but it's not ok for a woman to say something. |
Of course you are a woman who notice man and I don't blame you, do it, and there is nothing wrong with you or anybody else having fun.
Yes you got it right that I didn't like the talk, and I would of not read it if it was posted on the right thread. I think you should open a thread just for women talk about the looks of soccerplayers. I visit this thread to see about Spanish football and all I read is about the looks of the players,
and who said that is ok for guys to make comments and not for girls? make comments all you want on the appropriate place nobody will complain. If you have a problem about the guys talking about women on this board (which rearly happens) then you should you should say something since it bothers you so much.
on my first post I just said my opinion about your writings(the specific games you wrote about that time and not about your other posts), and I explaind why on my second or third post, if you want to refresh your memory go back and read it.

Now who the hell said that it's not ok for a woman to make comments or say something about the game? and what do you mean that when you(girls) say something we ignore your post? we do sometimes complain if you say nonsence, but not when you say something serious, do you want a reputation point when you say something good?
I also notice that my avatar really bothers you, and I don't blame you, it's ok I will take it off soon, just for you.
Maybe next time when you get a complain about anything from somebody you should take it easy and answer in a smart way and not a way to offend him or her, like a mature person you are, aren't you? |

| Here we go again... people, I'd like to introduce you to the word "tolerance". If something bothers you, there is no need to complain about it, every single time. And let's try not to hurt each other. |

As Mark said, "tolerance" which I think is something that some folks on this board don't understand or simply don't care. If you go back and check your post, you were the one that said "I knew it, girls only register not to talk about the games and plays, but the appearance and looks of a player, which I find very sad. This list above can go forever, and the funny thing is that she is a moderator" and that started everything. IMO, you were attacking us women. Instead of joking around, which is what we were doing, in case you didn't notice, a few of the men did also, you had to make a unnecessary statement.
I have not made a complaint against your avatar or some of the posts about women, which there have been some, so I would say I'm pretty tolerant. BTW...I don't want a reputation point for anything. I really don't care about the reputation points. Also, you should heed your own advice about taking it easy and responding in a smart and mature way. Seriously.
Oh well, time to move on to a crowd pleasing subject. |

Tracylynn is right
But as Mark says, we should just have tolerance, let it drop, even though it should never have been started in the first place. It's up to moderators like MUTU and Tracylynn to decide if something is off-topic and stop the discussion lol. |

Real Madrid have told Fabio Cannavaro that he is no longer needed and that he may go elsewhere. Rumor is that both Chelsea and Newcastle are interested in him. Plus, the rumor going around was that Juventus wanted him back but I do believe that they are denying it. I think he had said in an early interview that he would like to finish his career where it all started for him...at Napoli.
I think Schuster thinks Metzelder is the answer but Metzelder does seem to be injury prone. |

| I feel quite sorry for Cannavaro, after only a season they're kicking him out! He should just have stayed at Juventus lol! There's a good chance he'll go back seeing as they're back in serie A. |

Yeah, I feel sorry for him too because Capello wanted him but not Real Madrid. So when they showed Capello the door then it was only a matter of time before they showed it to Fabio.
I swear, Real Madrid is a organization of wackos. They bring in someone, Capello, who can win them titles then get rid of him after one season because the football was not pretty. I wish Kanoute would follow up on his lawsuit against FIFA and Real Madrid after what they did to him and other African players at the end of the season. I think they need a good kick in the ***. |

| Cannavaro has stated that he's not leaving Real unless another team and Real make some type of agreement. He stated that he had two more years on his contract and he is going to honor it unless Real sells him to another team. Real has stated that he's not needed but that it will be hard for another team to come in and make a offer for him because they still want him. I respect Cannavaro's comment but Real is a whacked up team. |

Raúl González Blanco (born June 27, 1977), usually referred to simply as Raúl, is a Spanish football forward. He has been playing for Real Madrid at senior level since 1994, where he is the team captain. He has played more than 100 games for the Spanish national team, and is its all-time leading goal scorer with 47 goals. He represented Spain in the 1998 FIFA World Cup, Euro 2000, the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Euro 2004 and 2006 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
Raúl is also currently 12th highest goalscorer in the history of Spain's top flight, with 194 goals in 449 games. All of these goals were for Real Madrid, making Raúl the club's third highest goalscorer of all time.
When playing, he wears jersey number 7 for both club and country (prior to World Cup 2002 he wore 10 for Spain).
