The last few games I saw Raul played in, well, he was basically invisible. One had to wonder if he was actually on the freaking football field. Now I see why the NT dropped him.

Samir Nasri is back on Real Madrid's radar after the Spanish giants failed to tempt AC Milan and Arsenal to part with Kaká and Cesc Fŕbregas, respectively.

The Bernabéu entity are reported to have a verbal agreement with Olympique Marseille that could see the 20-year-old join the club next summer.

After missing out on their main targets, Bernd Schuster is worried that he will be short of creative options unless a star name is added to the squad.

Nasri has admitted that moving to Madrid would be tempting, but only in the future as his current ambition is to make his name with l'OM.

While Marca believe that the verbal agreement put in place two months ago for more talks to be held in 2008 will lead to something more concrete, AS have led with reasons why Nasri would be a success in la Primera.

Describing the French international as 'the new pearl of European football', AS believe that both Pedja Mijatovic and Miguel Ángel Portugal are preparing a plan to tempt l'OM into cashing in early on the player.

btw Hannover beat Real 3-0 lol Twisted Evil

Nasri is one hell of a player, he owns everybody in my fifa 07 game, and he was voted the best young player in France this year,(in real life) That means that fifa game is very accurate even though it was designed in August 2006.

p.s. Real Madrid made a 40 million euro offer to Chelsea for Ballack or a 70 million euro offer for both Robben and Ballack. It looks like Schuster wants some germans in his squad

Real Madrid is getting more serious on this. The spanish newspaper AS said that Real Madrid is getting closer to sign a 3 year contract Ballack.

Real Madrid spent a lot of money this summer on some players that some of them are high quailty, and the others (well, it`s yet to be seen).

but despite all of these footballers, they didn`t buy the most needed player in the squad. obviously, Real Madrid need a playmaker. last season they used to have Beckham, he`s not a pure playmaker though. but still, he helped the team to find their way back to the net. but now.. if you watched their last pre-season matches. you will notic easily that the players are lost on the pitch Rolling Eyes

I'm amazed that no one has brought up the subject of Puerta's death. It's so sad and so shocking because he was so young. A lot of the news programs have been showing him collapsing and being revived on the football field. I know this is not the first time somthing like this happening but it's still shocking to see it happening. I hope Sevilla plays like wildcats the rest oif the season and win the La Liga title for him. My prayers go out to his family. Sad

Well it's not like he died weeks ago, it happened just yesterday. Here is a video at the match against Getafe where he had the heart attack.

I know it happened yesterday. I'm just amazed that someone didn't mention it when it was all over the net and the news networks.

It doesn't matter if this is a Bayern forum because this thread was created for talk on Spanish football. Just because one is a Bayern fan it does not mean that one is not allow to talk about other leagues and teams. Plus, this news is having an affect on the football world, especially since an African player dies today in Israel after collapsing on the pitch.

It's being reported that Puerta had a heart defect and that is what killed him. It's a defect that is not caught by regular checkups but is normally caught after one has had a heart attack.

Though Milan agreed to postpone the match between them and Sevilla out of respect for what happened, Sevilla wants to keep the game as schedule. It might due them good by keeping to the schedule. It might help them get this incident off of their minds.

It's a terrible thing that happened. My deep condolences to his family and his gf who apparently is carrying his child.

I can not even imagine what she is going through at this moment. Her love has died and she is pregnant with his child. It's so sad that this kid is not even going to know his father. All he/she will ever know and learn about his/her father will be from the family, pictures and videos.
