Here are some comments on some of the games that I had watched this weekend...
Faroe Islands and Italy....Faroe Islands scored on Italy. LOL!!! That was the second time the Islands scored in the qualifying. Way to go, Faroe Islands!!
Latvia and Spain.....this was the most boring game I have ever saw. I almost fell asleep twice because it was a dull game. BTW...I think Spain needs to recall Raul. Perhaps he would have provided them with a much needed spark.
France and Ukraine....good game. Plus, I loved the comment that the commentator said about Ribery.."You made not use the word "handsome" to describe Ribery, but you can use that word to describe his play." LOL!!! True, so true.
Sweden and Denmark.....this was the best game this weekend. Sweden was in control of the game but then Denmark got right back into it. Too bad that the Denmark player had to screw it all up by punching the Swedish player in the guy. Yes, the Swedish player took a swipe at him before the punch. But looking at the video more closely, I can tell the Swedish player hit back because that player from Denmark had taken a lighter swipe at him. The player from Denmark was not using his head. What made matters worse was the fan running out on the field. What an idiot!! Some think the official over reacted but I think he didn't. The police did not stop the fan from entering the field so how can he be sure they would stop another fan from coming onto the field.
